Our lab had quite the week at the CHOP Research Symposium! Zhiqiang Sha, a Postdoc, and Dabriel Zimmerman, a Data Analyst, both presented their work at the annual event. Zhiqiang’s talk focused on the neurogenetic underpinnings of brain functional and structural variations, and their etiologic link to the human behaviors and neurodevelopmental disorders. Dabriel presented on her project integrating EHR data for blood lead levels and geospatial information with MRI data to investigate how lead exposure impacts brain development. Dabriel’s poster was a CHOP Research Poster Day Winner, awarded based on the scientific merit of the research, the quality of the poster, and the strength of the oral presentation. Congratulations Dabriel!
