Brain-Behavior-Genetics Study Reaches Major Milestone!

Jan 24, 2025

We’re thrilled to announce that our lab’s BBG (Brain-Behavior-Genetics) Study has officially consented its 100th participant—a major milestone in our ongoing effort to better understand adolescent neurodevelopment! This achievement would not have been possible without the exceptional dedication and care of our Clinical Research Coordinator, Laura, whose thorough and compassionate approach to engaging with families has been instrumental to the study’s success.

The BBG Study integrates neuroimaging, genetic data, and behavioral assessments to create a comprehensive, multidimensional understanding of how the brain develops during adolescence. By combining these data sources, we aim to uncover the complex interplay between biology and behavior, with the ultimate goal of informing early interventions and improving mental health outcomes.

We’re deeply grateful to all the families who have participated so far and excited to continue building this rich and impactful dataset!
